  I love the outdoors, can't get enough of camping! But I believe I'll be camping in other campgrounds from now on. Unfortunately, carp are dead all over the shoreline & floating in the water. Park Rangers say they have a short life span & being short staffed keeps them from cleaning up the dead fish. When you can count more dead fish than feet you have walked it does not make for a fun time at the water. We never set foot in the water to do our favorite, paddle boarding, because of the yucky sand full of dead fish & fish parts & floating dead fish in the water. Also there are a lot more bugs around Jackson than any other campground we've been to. In the first 20 minutes of our arrival one of my 3 dogs had a tick. The next day another tick. This kept us from venturing too far away from our camper & constantly had us checking both the dogs & our children for more ticks. Although the other campers were pretty awesome & I can't complain about the Park Rangers either, I just don't see my family & I camping here again. Hopefully things get cleaned up!
